SQPrimer is a bioinformatics application that simultaneously designs both identical and different primers for PCR analysis in several nucleotide sequences. The few bioinformatics applications that design primers in different query sequences only find highly specific and differential primers.

SQPrimer stands out in the user facilitation of the changing the primer conditions and a graphical representation of amplicons at a glance.

The function of SQPrimer in the design of identical primers is useful for the genomic analysis using PCR strategies.
This sotware:
1- Designs primers at conserved sequences of nucleotides among different species.
2-The application designs homologous and different primers for SNP analysis.
3-The software designs homologous primers to detect by PCR length polymorphisms, including insertions and deletions.
4-SQPrimer designs primers that flank
triplet repeat expansions.
