SQRestrstriction (SQR) is an application that that compiles several utilities for the restriction enzyme investigation. The free download software has algorithms that compare the differences or similarities in the restriction sites of orthologous genes or in nucleotide sequences with single nucleotide polymorphisms, insertions or deletion and it may be also used for cloning of DNA.

SQR is a suite of different applications that analyzes either one, two or multiple sequences of nucleotides. It is a competitive application since it offers differential features that are useful for teaching and in laboratories of molecular biology.
